I don't know why people say its an aweful book, I think it was pretty cool although I do agree that its hard to get into but it thought it was really sad how hard Pip tried to win Estella's heart yet she shot him down, the only thing I didn't like about Pip was the name, I mean Pip? come on Dickens, can't you think of a better name than that? And I didn't really much care for the style of talking but I guess it creates the realism of most poor people back then. But it would have made an awesome movie ( not talking about that one with Robert De Niro) if it had a bit more action and at the end Pip (God what a crappy name) and the other guy dual and Pip dies and so does the other guy, perfect movie ending. Estella knows what a heart is cause Pip was willing to do anything for her even die and during the dual she realizes that but Pip dies just to maintain the tragedy of the story
