The novel, Great Expectations has plenty that anyone can learn from. This story of vengeance, double-crossing, and atonement is a great work of demonstrating the horrible Victorian society with its "Gentry" and the "Lower Classes". Truly one must say Britain was not the best place to live in during those painful times.
