this book is nothing short of grand and is historically (or however you spell it) entertaining and breath taking dont give in to todays peoples of how that gothic must be black hair and white face paint but is horror to the shrillest degree. brilliant but scary.

I know what you mean. I got squeemish at certain parts. I just can't stand reading about blood. I see it though and I'm perfectly fine.
