I am also studying English lit and in my second year. This is my frist encouter with Dracula and the only reasons I am reading it is cos I have an essay due in two weeks. However if read leisurely u will find this text a masterpiece in its own right.

i am at university in portsmouth, england and in my second year of an english lit degree. i love the story of dracula but the essay questions i have to answer are so boring that it momentarily made me forget how much i've always liked the book!! reading these messages helped in reminding me how good it really is, but i don't know about posting my essay on here!! it'll probably be awful!! good luck to anyone else studying. great site by the way.
