sooooooooooo boring. i appreciate what it did for science fiction and its significance at the time it was written. but each event of the story was just ridiculousl and really didn't keep me too interested. I mean the people keep running and aren't really winning the war against them at all. Then all of a sudden the aliens die and the book is over. Don't mean to sound so morbid but i think literature has really reached a higher level since then and like i said, i appreciate the book and its significance but that's about all i appreciate.
