I thought last of the mohicans wasan outstanding book. However at first I thought ?I would havetrouble reading it. Afterallit is not exactly 9th grade reading level. cooper's vivid description of everything kept me completly inveloped in the early America setting.And hisability to paint such a clear pictureis mind boggling
