It is very uncommon for someone to recite such a hard and long tale. It's really amazing!!!!

that is incredible it was hard enough for me to memorize just the first 12 lines of the prologue in its original language, but it is actually quite fun to recite it in its original form because it has this sort of rhythm to it that makes it enjoyable to say.

When I was in the service in 1965 I met a guy from Alabama that recite the entire Canterbury Tales in English and in old English and he didn't have any <br>books it was just from memory. He was 4.0 student in his senior year in college. He quit college because he needed some time off from school so he could get his mind back on school. It was unbelievable to hear him recite the Canterbury Tales.
