How is memory presented in The Tempest? What bearing does the idea or problem of memory have on the model of personal identity that is presented in the play?

How does Prospero remember his days in Milan? Fondly? Bitterly? Accurately? Do his memories lead him to perform specific actions?

How are Miranda's memories similar or different from Prospero's? Does that make her act differently? Is she perhaps more open to certain things than her father?
