I admit it, I love really awful movies. I don't mean just bad (Titanic) I mean spectacularly bad.-Attack of the Killer Tomatoes, The Rocky Horror Picture Show. Anyone else love a really bad movie?

You clearly have no taste, those movies are fabulous works of genius. ;)

Anything by John Waters, especially Pink Flamingos and Hairspray.

Flesh Gordon

Barbarella is pretty spectacular as well.

And honorable mention to Caligula and Tank Girl.

I had a period of watching Troma films, and the 'Executioner' movies.
'Rocky Horror' bad? 'The Rocky Horror Picture Show' has remained quite popular for many years now, just like 'The Sound of Music'. They are both successful musical films.
I would have thought that many of these cult 'bad' movies which go for extremes and push certain taste boundaries, like 'Toxic Avenger', 'The Class of Nuke-Em High' and 'Surf Nazis Must Die' would continue to be watched more and survive longer than many unremarkable special effects action movies, such as 'Speed 2' for example, or the later Highlander movies (although the second is just bizarre and irregular enough to push for cult status), but since grindhouse movies are becoming more and more mainstream, I'm not sure now.
I find it hard to keep watching some of these movies now. 2012 was hard to watch to the end, but some of the chase scenes were amusing.

I forgot to mention my avatar's source too, Labyrinth, some people say this is a so bad it's good movie, but I just think it's pure good ;).

Labyrinth. Oh..I remember seeing it when I was a young man ...Oh, the dreams I had of Jennifer Connelly!

The movie was just pure art and vision, and the music matched it perfectly too. I loved the Escherian staircase and all the wonderful puppets and goblins!

I know, it's brilliant, I don't understand how this movie was a flop when it was released.

It's much more memorable than Top Gun or Crocodile Dundee, that grossed more in that year. I mean:
'there's this guy, a pilot, he flies in a fighter plane...um..I think he's kind of a rebel...he gets the girl...can't remember the rest'
and
'there's this guy...he comes from Australia, he has a big knife, no, a REALLY big knife, and goes to America....yes, they let him through customs with it...and gets the girl... she's American..'

I'm not all convinced Labrynth counts as a really bad movie. Not was the concept good, it was very well done. Maybe it's a little cheesy, but not enough to make it bad.

I mean some movies really are so utterly awful that they're good, or at least amusing. I think most of the ones mentioned are prime examples. But Labryinth wasn't a bad movie at all. Sure not everyone is going to like all the same movies, but I don't think anyone could honestly think Labryinth was that bad.

I love really bad movies - you can have a great night with friends just tearing them apart. The pride of my collection is a rare-ish DVD of Manos: The Hands of Fate, though Ballistic: Ecks versus Sever and The Avengers come close behind.

So long as you find a 'bad' movie that's enjoyable to criticize, or because it is funny for all the wrong reasons. Some movies, such as 'Alone in the Dark' with Christian Slater, are so bad that you can't even enjoy watching them to laugh at.

Hey, his films are unquestionable masterpieces. I don't think I've ever seen a more profound or insightful scene than in the one at 0:56 of this video:

Shoot me but I liked Bayformers, now even though that second one is REALLY bad. I still wouldn't mind if it was just 2 hours of robots fighting, being for anything overblown with special effects.

I don't know what the hell this is.:smilielol5: but rolling around, leaping up into the air, decapitations and spontaneous exposions seem to be a trend.

Most of the fight scenes are actually worse than this:

Perfect Stranger with Bruce Willis and Halle Berry was so bad it was funny. Bounty Hunter with Jennifer Aniston was so bad that it couldn't be funny. Pretty much anything with Aniston is terrible. Love Happens might be the worst one.

Not every Aniston movie is bad... have you seen The Good Girl? Actually a pretty good movie.

And of course, let's not forget Office Space :)

But yes, Bounty Hunter was quite awful... haven't seen Love Happens.

Sometimes they're so awful that they view as comedies - to the original producers' chagrin, no doubt. But they can be genuinely creepy too, if you give yourself over to them to be "creeped."

I watched some of them for a laugh when younger but there was one that was well directed and had a double twist ending. I watched it on you tube where there is a complete unbroken video of it. This gives some idea of how different in quality it is to the normal Hammer output.
