I was just rather curious how many MMJ fans there were on this forum. So, if you're a fan, which album does it for you the most? any favorite song? or song style? Any bands you'd recommend that fellow MMJ listeners may would like but are probably ignorant to?

I used to be really into this band in high school. I listen to them a lot less nowadays, but their most recent record (which really come out almost 2 years ago, I guess) was pretty oustanding, though the album that came out before that, Z, is their classic.]

Really? I think Z is too polished, in terms of both production and song craft. At Dawn is their undisputed best for mine, followed by The Tennessee Fire .

All of their albums have great parts and some moreso throwaway parts (like wtf were they thinking when they recorded this song: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BPKc3Q2in4I it's just terrible). Even though At Dawn might have some of the best moments, Z is the most consistent from start to finish, it has a direction.

I probably enjoy It Still Moves over all of their studio albums, but must say I agree with Mathor that Z is their crown gem. I love each and every album and that is why I generally listen to the live albums most of the time. I would say that Yim's writing has been progressively improving and becoming more affluent, more coherent with each new album.

Here is a list of tracks you may enjoy since you like "Librarian":

(note: these are in no particular order.)

1. "Golden" (from It Still Moves);
2. "Gideon" (from Z);
3. "Knot Comes Loose" (from Z);
4. "Sooner" (from Chocolate and Ice - EP);
5. "Sec Walkin" (from Evil Urges);
6. "The Bear" (from The Tennessee Fire);
7. "Picture of You" (from The Tennessee Fire);
8. "Death Is the Easy Way Out" (from At Dawn);
9. "I Need It Most" (from At Dawn);
10. "Look At You" (from Evil Urges).
