I answered this q. in the essay form, by myself...please check it for me.



Bernad Shaw is a social reformer,who wants to change women position in his time,in which they considered as an object,and under their fathers` and husbands` authority.


Woman in Shaw`s paly,Pygmalion,is an independent,self-confident character,and a woman who struggle for her rights.


Eliza is a good example for a new woman,this is obvious when she rejects a proposal of marriage,the traditional idea of women at that time.
