So there's already a music video thread for classical vids on youtube, but what's the best music video you've ever seen? As you can see from my avatar, I'm a Lady Gaga fan, so I've enjoyed all of her vids immensely except for "Beautiful, Dirty, Rich."

A couple of my favorites are:

and, though less interesting in terms of content,

Kylie Minogue's "Come Into My World" video was directed by the amazing Michel Gondry, which resulted in this:

And if I feel like staring at the most perfectly beautiful woman in creation, I watch this:

So what are your favorites?

Continuing with the theme of feminine beauty... I've always liked MSTRKRFT's video for Easy Love.

lol, it's amusing atleast.

These next two are not technically music videos... but technical definitions inhibit the possibilities...

Cut You Up With A Linoleum Knife - Mastodon

Worth a chuckle.

"To Kill a Dead Man is a short film made in 1994 by the trip hop group Portishead. The film is a spy movie which revolves around an assassination and what happens afterwards."

Ha, that first one reminded me of two of my other favorite vids.

Benassi's "Who's Your Daddy," which used to be too explicit for youtube:

And Fedde le Grand's "Put Your Hands Up for Detroit," which is infinitely tamer:

And Bijou's "Two Bottes" is incredibly enjoyable. Not just for the video, which is a reimagining of Alice in Wonderland, and the song, which is awesome, but because the guy is pretty hot.

Radiohead have a few pretty cool clips:

It's overwrought, but Cash's 'Hurt' video is hard to discount:

And I've always loved the austere visual accompaniment to this Springsteen masterpiece:

I like this one. It's simple but creative, and pretty cool I thought.

I was in middle school in the 80's when MTV actually played music videos and I came home every day after school to watch dial MTV, and I like to stay up late for Headbangers Ball. With that being said, here are my pics - these are the videos that really stick out in my mind when I think about the 80's and watching MTV before Yo MTV Raps:

Van Halen:

Twisted Sister:

Metallica: One

And Axl...

I guess only two of these videos were ever on Dial MTV. And Orphan Pip thought he was going all Jurassic Park...
