A guy Fflyer (now banned) has been using the site for hosting downloads.
One of the downloads was apparently copyrighted and the copyright owner complained to me which is how I found it.
He'd post a reply or a new thread and then include one or two unrelated attachments for downloading. He'd then use the download links elsewhere and use this site's bandwidth up.
Also some of them seemed to be political. I didn't download them all but one was named "bush and putin" so obviously it must have been.
Please keep your eye out for this type of behavior. It is definitely not allowed for the following reasons.
1. Copyright infringement is illegal and I do not support it.
2. Political discussion here is not allowed, so obviously some of this stuff falls under that rule.
3. Such activity can really slow down the server if lots of people are told to download the file.
If you see unrelated attachments being posted, specifically image, program, or video files (.wav .mp3 .mov .wma, .exe, .zip, etc) please let myself or a moderator (scher or logos) know.
