Don't Stop the Carnival by Herman Wouk

While on vacation how many of us have said "Wouldn't it be nice to chuck it all and move down here?" This book is about a New York Public Relations Agent doing just that. Norman Paperman sells his client list and buys a hotel on the Carribean island of Amerigo (The residents still call it Kinja).

Norman soon discovers that everything isn't as it seems and life in the carribean can get pretty complicated, from island politics to getting even getting fresh water. The other characters help round out the book and help Norman survive in the hotel business.

I give this book a 3.75/5. I kept coming back to the book wondering what could possibly happen next and how is Norman going to get out of it. However, in my opinion there are two aspects that don't make sense in the context of the rest of the book but these two things are minor and don't detract from the rest of the book.
