View Full Version : In what ways are Lord Capulet and Tybalt similar and different?

Hey people, new member here, love the site. anyway, i need to compare and contrast Lord Capulet and Tybalt. I'm having difficulties though. I have already compared and contrasted all of the other characters for my assignment, but I just cant think of things for these two. Please help me. Thank You!:)

The similarity that jumps to mind for me is that both men are quick-tempered and violent. Tybalt is all too quick to start a fight and Lord Capulet treats Juliet unnecessarily harshly. There are hints, I believe, that Lord Capulet is an abusive husband. Here are a few short character analyses on both characters:
