If you made Macbeth into a movie/play where would your production take place?

I don't want to go with the Scotland, but nothing strikes me as being particularly "Macbethish"

What would you do? Why? Maybe show me how it relates to the text.

Scotland Scotland Scotland... Based on a play from Scottish history and played for a Scottish, and now King of England, James - by a company of actors just proclaimed 'The Kings Men' and eager to show their gratitude? ...Just a thought. :)

Have you seen the Macbeth version movie that is set in Melbourne, i think its really good and really well done. It does miss out a few scenes but the movie itself is really intriuging. i recomend it muchly :) it was made in 2006, and is an Australian movie. Woot, Australian made rocks!
