W/o knowing the eventual consequences of their marriage, at the time, do you think they should have gotten married?
[sorry if i phrased this awkwardly: english essay and wanting opinions]
A point of view brought up by someone I was discussing it with is that their infatuation w/ each other was not love, but more lust. (which i agree with, since I don't believe in love at first sight). Therefore, it was extremely disloyal to somewhat "betray" their families over this kind of puppy love.
I think out of loyalty to her family at least, when Romeo killed Tybalt, Juliet should have taken her family's side. But from another point of view, he was already her husband.. eh.....
Anyway, opinions??!?
