While you guys have provided some great classic and modern day poems, i am surprised not to find Walt Witman's works. I hope you can add a few of his poems as well.

Who knows to tell me about some WW poetry based on Camoes works. I believe there are some lirics of him inspired on Camoens lirics. I will search on George Montero book references to see. To whom is reading me dont think that Camoes, a manneirist/renascence portuguese poet, influenced only portuguese and brazilian authors, he did. He influenced worldwide literature. Try to know and see how beautiful is his liric poems.
