i need some help!!!! how is 'the great gatsby' by f.scott fitzgerald an example of a modernist novel??? i need to make references to modernist literature, emphasis on the individual and the portrayal of society. it's for an english lit essay! :)

To Caitlin,
I believe the Great Gatsby is a good example of a Modernist Novel due to its cynical outlook on life. You may ask how I know this, it is because of Mr. Klein. Good luck writing your essay! btw great part lst night! uve got a really nice family lol
