Heya.
For my English Coursework, I'm doing an essay comparing the portrayal of childhood and innocence in Jane Eyre and The Bluest Eye by Toni Morrison. I knew this was going to be a challenge, but I would like your views not of the title of my work, but on the subject matter. In what ways can I compare the two novels? I've spent a lot of my word count talking about Jane and Pecola and how they are both portrayed as 'the Other', but I know that, for a good grade, I'll need to dig a bit deeper.
What do you all think?
