Did anyone enjoy the new Masterpiece Theatre version of Mansfield Park?
I enjoyed it well enough, probably more than Northanger Abbey and Persuasion.
Austen is such an excellent writer that it's just so much more enjoyable to read her books! :)

Are you on about the one with Billie Piper? if you are, there is a thread dedicated to the intire season. Its under Itv/ Utv Jane austen season title thread in main jane austen section. They were out over a year ago here and i stared a thread about them back then that has a few comments relating to them in it if you want to check it out.:)

It just played in the US on January 27th, and in Canada only a month earlier.

Though apparently, it played in the UK in March of 2007.
