The Journey of My Repose
by your babybrother

I’ll always love and treasure, the family that Mom made.
As a child,
I never thought I’d see the day, our togetherness would fade...

but it did.

First, confused,
then tolerant.
I was hurt.
I was angry.
I was lonely,
and finally, sad...

I forgave.

Still confused.
Still patient.
Still... I wait.
Remembering life, as it was- will have to be enough.

Blessed by my own child, I am happy again.
Longing for my son to know them.
I choose to wait nomore.

Missing them always,

wondering...

why?

I've been reworking it... I think I'm done.

This is a sad poem.:(
I like the way it appears on the page.
The feelings in it are nicely communicated.

Thanks Sweets,

You know, the more I read it, the more I like it and think it's not so bad...

I'm obviously not a poet, but have to admit it's nice to put all the disorganized hurt feelings into one organized group of words that can convy the unfair nature of living with the hand that life has dealt you.

Thanks for finding something positive to say about it:)
