I am writing a paper about who should be blamed for Ohelia's death. I have a few scenes I have picked out to analyze but was hoping to get a few opinions of which character other people might find to be responsible for the death of Ophelia. Please help me with whatever you could from the following scenes:
-First meeting between Polonius and Ophelia> Act 1 Sc 3
-Closet scene> Act 2 Sc 1
-Polonius going to the king (If blaming Polonius)> Act 2 Sc 2
-Nunnery Scene> Act 3 Sc 1
-Polonius' death> Act 3 Sc 4
-Ophelia's insanity> Act 4 Sc 5
-Ophelia's death> Act 4 Sc 7
Again I would appreciate all the help I could get with placing the blame for Ophelia's death on one of the characters so feel free to give any opinion or source of help you might know of. Thanx
