Hey, I am new to this forum and I need some serious help for my term paper on Romeo and Juliet.
The question I have to base my essay around is:
What is the role of antithesis, paradox, contradiction and oxymoron in Shakespeare's Romeo and Juliet?

For this topic my teacher gave me that ideas like antithesis can be shown through the actions of the capulets i.e. Capulet says Juliet is too young to marry to Paris but Lady Capulet said she was married when she was Juliet's age. For paradox she gave me the idea of Friar Laurence and the things he does for Romeo and Juliet throughout the play. For Contradiction, she gave us the idea that Romeo who keeps having "dreams" about bad things happening and knowing shouldn't be going to the party but goes anyways. Finally for oxymorons she gave us the idea about Juliet's big speech after she found out about Tybalt's death.

Do you guys/gals have any suggestions or anything else that could help?

Thanks,
