can anyone think of a book by Anton Chekhov that involves alot of revenge and deceit?? Anything you can think of.

Revenge and deceit are strong themes in Chekhov's works.

The main character in "The Lady and the Dog" is a habitual cheater. There's also an affair in "The Duel". The story "A Problem" is about a teenage forger. The story "A Chorus Girl" has embezzlement in it.
