Kitkats for the first 10 voters! ;)

Oh thanks for the reminder Scher. I had forgotten about it. I'll try to read them this weekend.

So, how did Penelope die? And were they really vampires? And did she have a premonition of her death? And what about the guy and his cars?

I think I'll hold off on voting until I decide.

(great stories by the way)

Thanks, Virgil and Shalot! :)

Maybe other members would take the time to read the stories and vote this weekend! :)

Well, the deed is done. It may not be undone. I said the choice would be hard, and indeed, hard it was. Sometimes you feel like Barney Fife with his one bullet for his gun when it comes to voting. You only have one shot and you cannot aford to miss, so you pray you aim correctly. Que sera, sera.

I have cast my vote, though it was indeed difficult to chose a winner. There is a lot of talent here! :)

Good reading. Definitely difficult to pick just one...but those are the rules. Seriously enjoyed each entry.

06-18-2007, 06:07 AM
I would have picked two ..... but since i can just vote for 1 .....

Just printed out the stories. I'll be reading them this week. By all the comments, they must be pretty good. I can't wait. :)

I enjoyed all four stories. I'll have to make up my mind in a day or so.

I voted. It was a tough choice. Good stores once again. Kudos to the writers.

To those who have not voted, what are you waiting for. I feel this is the one and only one lit net obligation. This is not high literary analysis. Just read the stories and pick the one you like. It only takes a half hour.

06-28-2007, 01:36 PM
Why everyone keeps saying it was hard is beyond me. It was quite an easy choice for me, but maybe that's because I know which one I liked (best).

Last 3 days of voting!

Don't miss the chance to determine one of the finalists!

You can also submit your short stories for the August elimination! :)

06-29-2007, 11:32 AM
Suely the last story should be worth at least one vote! Come on, someone put a lot of work into writing that. As a writer myself, I know the feeling they must be having about now! Play nice!

06-29-2007, 10:18 PM

Come on lit neters. You have a duty to vote. It only takes an half hour to read them and pick you're favorite.

06-29-2007, 11:15 PM
I haven't gotten around to reading the others but I will right now and cast my vote fairly...

06-30-2007, 12:05 PM
