I want to use the word, "fleded" to rhyme with "dreaded" and "shredded" in a sonnet I'm writing. While reading Shakespeare with a friend, he once critized me for not pronouncing the final "ed" added to a past tense word. We discussed it at length, but I have searched the the word online in the four plays we read, and I can't find it.
Does anyone know of any word where Shakespeare used the past tense in this manner?
