Can anyone explain some of the biblical imagery used in the novel?

i've only read one, if you could tell me which novel you've read that you've seen biblical allusions in, that would be a big help for me

well, i've only read 'heart of darkness.' the biblical imagery found in that would be the river, which is compared to a snake, (satan), tempting marlow, (adam) to explore it. by following the river, marlow gains the "knowledge of good and evil"
