Apocalypse Now is the movie/video you would be looking for...or so I've been told. I rented it just the other day and have yet to compare it to HoD. But give it a try.

Have you watched the new "Kong" movie with Naomi Watts? The book is in Jack Black's pocket, which he quotes throughout the movie, and the obvious themes are seen with light/dark, civil/savage; adventure; exploitation; need I go on?:) Also a great modern take on the point(s) Conrad makes about society as a whole/ in general.
