hi guys, im new to poetry and i was wondering if you guys know any poems by American poets, written about freedom of religion.
Any input will be greatly appreciated.

hmm... i don't know any american poets who wrote about freedom of religion... but i do believe that we should all be given that freedom... it is a basic human right to be able to chose his/her own religion and have his/her own beliefs...

Freedom of religion, vary dangerous, it spreads like wild fire from one generation to the next. look into freedom from religion.

Some of the only American poets who come to my mind, and who may express 'freedom of religion,' may be mostly the naturalist/transcendentalist poets: Ralph Waldo Emerson, Henry David Thoreau, William Ellery Channing (maybe).
If you asked about international poets on the same topic, I could give you many more responses, but I think this seems all my head can think about. Good luck!

Maybe try some WW2 refugees as well, do a search for american poets and then just start goin through them
