Hey Im new and im glad i found this site.
So my class is working on poetry and we had to write a poem and it could be about anything.
I handed in my poem to mark and recieved it the next lesson.
That was the first time i ever heard of Emily Dickinson. My english teacher said that i have the same ideas as her well atleast similar or something.
Now that I've read some of her poems, i think is she is one of the best poets of all time. I just love everything about her poetry.
My poems seem to do a lot with death and life and confusion, when i read all her poems most of them were similar, the ideas and all. Isnt it strange? I mean I thouhgt my poems were just weird and depressing but after reading all her poems, I just gotta be more positive about it.
Even though shes passed away, she will always be my hero! my role model. She is amazing! now i cant stop reading all her poems over and over again.
