Voting off to a slow start as usual. But at least the stories are being read, hopefully. Remember, everyone, this is the shortest month of the year, so you have less time to make your minds up. If we are going to have these competitions, we should support them by voting in them, I should think. Use the vote or lose it, they always say. Be a shame to lose things. We have little enough votes as it is!

Dont worry, Pen. I have downloaded all the stories, have read two, but will soon finish the rest and decide which one to vote for :D

The competition has my full support.

Good Luck to all contestants :thumbs_up

Read the stories last night for the second time. I enjoyed them all. Good work everyone. There were two or three on the first read that I could have voted for. On the second read, I felt a definete preference.

Have to say this short story contest is one of my favorite aspects of lit net. Kudos to who ever thought of it.

Somehow, I've lost my way. I just read LAPD and I wanted to read the others and can't figure out where they are

I am going to log off now and go do something else and maybe when I come back tommorow, someone will have replied and posted a link to the actual stories so that I can finish reading

(sorry to be such a moron but I've been clicking around for a while and now I've just got to go. I'm sure when someone points it out I will have a big "duh" moment and then I can go on enjoying the stories) :)

Well, it pleases me that no story is going out of this competition without a vote! If someone takes the time to write a story, and has the courage to share it with the rest of us, they deserve a vote for bravery, anyway, I say! :thumbs_up

Finally got my essay finished and found some time to read these. All excellent quality, but I've found my favourite.

My apologies for voting! I didn't realize until afterward that I'm not allowed because I've not yet posted 100 times.

Still time, yet, jab - a good half-hour on "Live Chat" or "Word Association" will have you at 100 in no time!
