Some critics, indeed, consider him as a pure romantic,a more balanced view will see him as a realist writer who was influenced by the Romantics. He derives his power from being involved in the life of common people.
An accurate observer,a clear eye for details, his artistical world being inhabited by a variety of human types.
A life full of limitations and mysery left traces on his work.
The writer takes delight in exploiting the language with the skill of performing artist. The fresh imagery, the correspondences between the inner and the outer forms of the human universe, the abundance of artistical devices suggest Dickens` gifts as a writer.
