Hey :]

I'm planning on analysing Bram Stoker's Dracula, and was just wondering whether anyone had any views on the language used within this book, or just generallly had thoughts on the novel itself :]

I read the work a long time ago, but I remember that Stoker succeeded in creating an atmosphere of palpable, but also very understated unease and horror. I remember it being eerie, but not visceral. Perhaps it was due to a subtle use of LANGUAGE ? Perhaps you can look into a connection between language ( and imagery ) used and the atmosphere it creates ? I hope this helps.
