Why ? He's so morbid ! Do you think he's actually able to " in pace requiescat" ?

Also, can anyone explain what "The Masque of the Red Death" was all about ? I did a paper on it in first year of university, and I analyzed Prince Prospero as a mad aristocrat who tortures his serfs and who completely succumbs to his madness by the end of the story. It was a long time ago that I wrote this essay, so I don't remember all the details. Please enlighten me !

I read somewhere not too long ago, someone wrtiting a paper on that particular story said it was all a dream. Prince Prospero was dreaming the whole thing. Interesting.
