I've just finished the last paragraph. I have to say I loved the book, it had me hooked all the way through.
The last few lines let it down though in my opinion. After such a great success, I wish Dickens had given it a bit more thought. I was left feeling confused and a bit empty somehow. I would like to have seen Tom get a woman of his own and not have to share the happy endings of the others.
Does anyone else agree?
