Do you know what themes Shakespeare sonnets contain? I am aware that most of the sonnets deal with themes such as love and beauty, mortality,and the ravages of time. Could you please elaborate on these topics and include some examples that exist in the collection of Shakespeare's 154 sonnets. Thank you.

Many of them, the speaker is blubbering about the lemon meringue pie that has been smashed in his face; he wines and comes back for more mistreatment from the one he loves.
