Hello,

I have to write a fictional interview with Poe and I have some questions, which I would be really grateful if someone could answer.

* Are there any information of how he thought about writing detective stories?
* Had Poe ever been interviewed?
* Are there any transcript of Poe's interview to Dickens?
* What kind of questions would you ask Poe? (Imagine that you go back to the past and knows what he had done during his life)
* How would Poe reply? I'm reading some of his articles and letters to try to get his way of viewing the world, but I cannot get the essence of it.

Thanks!

hello dear.. I will give a shot of it, i`m not too good at that.
i`ll just try to help with some..

I would ask Poe about his favourite poetry he wrote
About his mother, how would he describe her? and a two-word adjective about his father
How did he view Virginia?(his beloved cousin)

I don`t think he had a real good view of life.
Who has a bright(good) view about life, wouldn`t use expressions such as "I calmly resign my life" or "I have no wish to live another hour". He faced loads of situations in life..

I know I didn`t help enough, or maybe at all, but I just tried =(

sorry for being late..
