What's "up" with Upton?

its actually based on the date of publication, that 50 year thing is just up there so I don't get requests for very recent things.

I thought you only were allowed to post novels and such if the author had been dead for 50+ years. Or is it jsut the original puplication of the work. Because I noticed Upton died in '68 i believe and you have "The Jungle" Just wondering
