For anyone who collect books and have books from Easton Press http://www.eastonpressbooks.com/leather/ , are the books worth the money?

You know, I started the exact same thread about two weeks ago, and I got no answer...I would love to know if someone has tried them too!!

Welcome to the forum by the way.

The books look awesome. I may buy one off E-bay to see how they feel, look and their overall quailty.

Thank You for your cordial greeting...

That's a good idea. I first saw them on Ebay as well. I would love to collect them in the future, but I would like to know if their plans go well you know. I wouldn't want to get stuck in anything I could not pay for. If you try Ebay, let me know how you like them okay.

well they sure are expensive, at least like 40 bucks a pop. But I definately wouldn't mind getting a couple of my favorite classics from them. Maybe for christmas....

Yes thank you, I have a catalog from them. That's how I came to know about them.

I know they are expensive, but at least I can dream :D It is a good Christmas idea isn't it (turns to look for fiancee :D )

I bought a copy of Aristotle's Poetics and Politics in the Easton Press edition a while ago, as a gift for a friend. It was quite a lot more expensive than I would normally pay for a book, but I was shocked and impressed with the quality. It was a real and substantial Book. As for collecting them, I wouldn't be able to advise you. If you're willing to pay the money, you won't be disappointed.
