This is something I stole from William Safire's "On Language" column. You basically separate a word into two or three smaller words in order to form a woman's name. Some examples:

Etta Mology
Rita R. Dando
Bess T. Seller

Male names work too, but apparently not as often.

Mike Robiology
Ben E. Fice
Vinnie Ray Bull

Kind of stupid, i suppose. But entertaining still.
(The pronunciation of "Womenclature" is a bit ambiguous, as using the plural changes the first syllable in such a way that it really does not sound like "nomenclature", but using the singular both causes a similar effect and makes the spelling of two words even less similar. I have thus concluded that this is not a word to be pronounced, but only read.)
