I am a high school teacher of moderate disabled students. I am looking for a watered down version of Macbeth for my students to read. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Not sure how much 'watered down' this is, but there's a modern English version on Sparknotes (http://nfs.sparknotes.com/macbeth/) that might be easier to read/understand. :)

Thank you so much for turning me on to this easy to read site. My students will be able to understand this version. I think it is important for students with disabilities to be exposed to the same literature as all other high school students.

No problem :). In case you didn't notice, there's more Shakespeare's plays (http://nfs.sparknotes.com/) (and the sonnets, too) on Sparknotes 'translated' into modern English if you want to read some more. Hope you and your students will enjoy reading the plays :).

Hi. I'm a newcomer. I taught for 31 years in public school and now teach grades 10, 11, 12 in private school . Thought this site looked helpful.
