Does anyone know where I could find a translation guide, pronunciation. I am attempting to learn ancient egyptian. I enjoy studying its cultural history, I would like to study it's linguistic history.

I can translate it to some extent. I can't pronounce it in the original. You should be able to find something on: bn.com

Cool. Thanks for the info.

Do you know the name of the book that egyptologists were using for a while?

What period? If you can read ancient greek, just retranslate the rosetta stone.

I am not fluent in ancient greek, is there a translation of the stone lying around anywhere?

About the book, I do not know the period, I just heard about a book that was being used to translate.

I learned all this stuff when I was like 12, so I don't recall everything. Check the local library for the stone. If you have a SMALL piece that needs urgent translation, post it and I'll do my best.
