Well, you've to consider there are members from kinda all the world... eg. when my friend in DC goes to bed, it's usually time for me to get up... try to suggest a date and time (and the zone the time's for) and maybe it could work

Stanislaw

Jay

NO SUNDAY!!! Well, at least not after 1pm... well, of "my" time, that is +1. Make it Saturday (anytime :D)...

Stanislaw

saturday is good.

saturday is generally ok but the time really depends...maybe (my) early afternoon, or (my) evening but it depends...

I always make a mess with time zones, but I think I'm 6 hours later than New York and 9 hours later than LA... I think Jay has the same times as me.

hello! today is saturday, and i'm the only one here. Pick a time according to the times on the website, of course. That way we can just figure it out from there. But there is no way I'm waking up at 2am just to break the record......ok, MAYBE i'll stay up. :)

nicholasburrus

Yes the world is biiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiig

nicholasburrus

What about Saturday GMT -8

Koa
12-06-2003, 08:19 AM
Uh I always forget that fayefaye is on the other side of the world.... so that's another time to keep in mind...

There's no way I'll understand the times as expressed on this forum... I mean of course I can read it, but I'll never manage to remember the difference with my time... Uhm let's try...it's 13:12 here according to my pc...

This is going to be harder than I thought. What about next saturday. Lets pick a Time acording to the forum.

Azoic

Next saturday, as in the 13th? (sorry I need some sleep and a calendar)

Jay
12-09-2003, 11:03 AM
KOA, you DO have the same time as me, and WE do have the same time the forum has... GOODY, don't you think?

OK, sorry, couldn't get to this site over five days, was it down? Doubt so... but other sites on my comp were ok, just had probs with this one...

So, Saturday 13th, WHEN???

And Azoic, no need to be sorry for stating a valid point... one can be never too sure, right?

Stanislaw

Shall we say be on for a chunk of the day, that way their will be a bit of overlap pn each comp. therefore breaking the record is inevitable.

That would be cool to break the record, but people would be posting so fast that it would be hard to keep up between even just the 5 forums that I'm active in. For people who are active in all of them, it would be a nightmare. Also, that kind of defeats the purpose of having a most on at once counter, as it would be planned and therefore a falsehood to new users who want to know how active the forum is, on average. Ah what the hell, lets do it anyways.

If this happens today (Sat. 13th), maybe I won't be there, I'll be away all afternoon....Wait, but my afternoon is morning to all of you, so if the thing will take place during American's afternoon, I'll probably be here as I have nothing planned for my European night, except trying to recover from this cold *sneezes*.

Whatever.

Jay

ok, it is EMPTY here... anyone wants to jump in???

Koa, so night is it? If I remember :o, I'll be here ;)

Koa

Excuse me, but what is the purpose of having 30 members online at the same time ?

Koa
01-27-2004, 05:33 PM
Oh come on, does everything need to have a purpose??? :)

imthefoolonthehill

well... judging by the purpose of life thread, no.

Jay

What is the purpose of things having a purpose? Ok, I admit, getting maybe a little cynical in my old age...

Ya I was reading and didn't look at the dates...this is 3 years old!!! Makes more sense now, LitNet seemed too popular to have only 30 members online at the same time. I'm going to go check the new record ^_^

Thanks for confusing me, Stanislaw. Now i'm going to be befuddeled all day(just kidding! In case you didn't notice. I don't know if befuddeled is a word, but if it is there is no way I spelled it correctly...)
