The Cenci

I'm halfway reading The Cenci, and I was wondering what other people's opinions are of it. It's certainly the most dark and depressing of Shelley's work that I've read, and it lacks the optimism or uplifting quality of most of his poems.

Still, that's hardly surprising considering the plot...
