Yes, I am sorry I did not discover them earlier. There´s another one I would like to suggest:

Thomas Hardy, On the Western Circuit

I think it is a short story which the play "The day after the fair" was based on. It was also turned into a movie.
This time I made sure it´s not already there ... ;)
