Beginning Teacher/ Native Alaska

I will be starting my first teaching job in seven weeks. I recieved my license in Elementary Ed, but have an English Literature degree and will be teaching middle school and high school English in a small native village in Alaska. Does anyone have advice for me (how to the classroom, management, et cetera)?
