Phileas Fogg, no doubt, in my opinion - very ambitious, adventurous, enthusiastic, and confident!

By the way I voted for Nemo.... I just think that is the best character ever.... so mysterious.... Did you know that in the original book Nemo had a background story.... I think he was polish and her parents were murdered during the war.... but since it had political connotations Verne's editor asked him to change the background.... He didn't want to change his story so he decided to keep him with a dark mysterious past...

I regret that Cyrus Smith is absent in this poll... This guy is a living encyclopedia. So I vote for him...

captain Nemo is my favorite character closely followed by Jacques Paganel. Fileas Fogg is so well not real, his character isn't developed at all. Among his other characters I like Cyrus Smith, Michel Ardan and Mathias Sandor

For me, it's a tie between Phileas Fogg and Nemo.

I see that there are no votes for Robur.... I wonder if anyone read the books he is in...?

While Nemo wins the prize for best main character, Point Pescade the acrobat from Mathias Sandorf is one of my favorite supporting characters. He's witty, brave and always ready to spring into action.

I always liked the best was Doniphanfrom Two Years' Vacations - proud, intelligent, brave... in other words, just like me. :D

Edit: I just found out he was called Donovan in English translation!

In my opinion it is Philleas Fogg. He was brave and had the courage to accept challenges.
