hi there fellow orwell lovers.
i had to do a piece of coursework for my english course, and i decided to continue on winston's diary. i took it over the time when he was trying to get in touch with julia and arange a meeting. im actually kinda proud of it, but as we all know, that dont mean jack. i was hoping to get a response from someone opn this site.
my diary entry is about 650 words long, so not too long to read.
anyway, if youre interested, please email me at
[email protected]
or, if you cant be bothered to read it and then reply, maybe you have suggestions for whats really important for me not to forget about...
anyway, thanks for your interest

What ridiculous educational system are you in, where you don't write essays and get A's?

I believe it is called the California school system. I saw my aunt looking at a list of "sub-standard California schools." There are about 3000 of them (from elementary to high). That is about 1/3 of the California eduactional system.

That is really sad.

I think if you read most of Nic's quotes you can see what happens when somone is handed out strait A's without having them write essays. Not only will they fill forums with nearly pointless posts, but they think that 650 words is
loooooooooooong
Sorry nic, maybe I'm being a bit hard on you, I mean, after all you are only 14.
