Anybody can tell me something on the abovementioned subject?

I ask that you express the topic more fully. Do you mean Joyce's representation of the mother figure in A Portrait of the Artist as a Youngman and in Ulysses? Or do you mean the author's birthmother and his own arrival at manhood and the influence that she had on him? Granted, the representations in both novels are somewhat autobiographical, but can be discussed as literature--while Joyce's actual personal life may be less fruitful for investigation.
I look forward to discussing this with you Evgeni.

In Portrait he describes his mother in association with smell and music.
